Orthotics Technician

Digital Orthotics Laboratories Australia Pty Ltd specialises in prescription foot orthotic manufacturing and supply, including training, education and support for medical health professionals. We supply medical professionals across Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, USA, UK, South America & Japan.

**Role**

We are seeking an experienced Portugues speaking Orthotics Technician with Physiotherapy knowledge to join our team in a Permanent Full-time role at our site on the Gold Coast.

You will be working onsite in Southport QLD 4215.

Some key responsibilities will include:

- Manufacture orthotics
- Liaise with and interpret and assist with orthotic prescriptions for Physiotherapists
- Assist in training and course programs for Physiotherapists
- Manage orders from Portuguese speaking markets including responding to inquiries, assessment of patient presentations, prescription entering, design and fabrication of orthotic devices suitable for patients and provide related advice and follow ups
- Review diagnosis and prescriptions to develop orthotic based treatment options to provide optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure that manufacturing team has all required information and prescriptions are completed to enable design and fabrication of the orthotic device
- Keep up-to-date with technology/electronics/ professional standards
- Educate patient/health professionals and support orthotics personnel

**Technical Experience required**:

- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in orthotics manufacture
- Orthotic terminology and manufacturing experience
- Have a background or relevant work experience in Physiotherapy field

**Requirements**:

- Hold a minimum of Diploma level qualification
- Proficient in Portuguese

**Annual salary package**: $70,000 plus superannuation
