The Role

At Witchery, we empower women to look and feel confident every day through an elevated and seamless shopping experience. The Witchery website is one of the most important platforms through which we provide this to our customers.

The primary purpose of the eCommerce Manager is to manage sales and trade of the Witchery Website and online marketplaces, such as The Iconic and David Jones.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day sales and trade of the website.
- Maintenance and enhancement of product inventory through product copy development, product asset management and uploads, and on-site merchandising to ensure that product and content is accurately represented and strategically optimised.
- Support the Retail Operations and Omni Fulfilment Centre teams to ensure orders are fulfilled, dispatched and returned in line with customer expectations
- Working with the Planning and Omni Fulfilment Centre teams to provide accurate forecasting on customer orders.
- Manage the creation, testing and execution of website promotions and sale pricing
- Liaise with planning and legal teams on any and all queries relating to product, pricing, promotions etc.
- Work with the Front End Developer to own the website UX & content strategy, including weekly homepage updates, campaign page development, informational page builds and other content as required, in line with broader marketing initiatives to drive conversion and sales
- Work with the Digital Manager in support of CRO initiatives and website enhancements.
- Work with the SEO lead to implement Search Engine Optimisation best practice in all content and identify new areas of content development
- Conduct weekly audits of the site to ensure all available product is live, current and accurate
- Continuously seek improvement of the systems and processes used by the Witchery digital team to streamline the management of all aspects of website content and product inventory
- Manage and mentor the eCommerce Assistant
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry
- Extensive experience in website content management systems
- Experience managing and implementing a website content calendar
- Strong Google Analytics tracking and data reporting insights skills
- Google Tag Manager experience is an advantage
- An understanding of web store operations and retail trading
- Experience of ecommerce product and digital asset management
- Strong numeracy, digital analytics and reporting data analysis skills
- Experience and understanding of SEO best practices and implementation
- Willingness to learn, display initiative and take on new responsibilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
