PNG Field Mining Services (PNGFMS) is currently seeking a suitably qualified Trainer/Assessor to work with New Starters and employees with expiring permits, to ensure competency to work on site.

Rosters can vary but you can use your days off to your advantage - exploring the coastline on Lihir, visiting local villages and experiencing the traditional PNG way of life or snorkelling off the beach there is something that will capture your sense of adventure.

Remuneration and benefits are above market expectations and will be further discussed during interview.

**Your Skills and Experience**:
To be considered for the role, you must have the following:

- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Trade background (not required but highly regarded)
- A minimum of 4 years mine site experience
- A minimum of 4 years post trade certification
- A genuine commitment to safety
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a multinational team environment
- Understand cultural respect and awareness
- Willingness to develop, transfer knowledge and experience to the national workforce

**Successful applicants must**:

- Hold a current Passport (with at least 12 months validity)
- Be able to pass a medical examination, drug and alcohol screening
- Be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Clearance
