**The Company**:
This fabulous company is one of Australia's fastest growing event technology and event management agency, and they are on a mission to reinvent the global events industry through event technology that puts customers first They are looking for a Venue Sourcing Specialist to join their Melbourne team.

**The Role**:
The Venue Sourcing Specialist will report to the CEO. The Venue Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for planning event briefs Australia-wide. This role will be responsible for collating client proposals, creating client pitches, sales, and developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities include;
- **Event Proposals**: this is a 360 role whereby you will be qualifying the clients’ brief, creating bespoke event proposals based on the clients’ needs, taking the client on site visits (if applicable), negotiating costs with venues/suppliers and contracting the event, within set deadlines.
- **Client Pitches**: you will have to present and pitch your event proposal to stakeholders with confidence and credibility, whilst handling their feedback and objections, and providing creative solutions.
- **Sales Delivery**: you will be responsible for delivering monthly sales targets via your event pipeline. We are looking for someone commercially minded to be confident in up-selling both suppliers and event management.
- **Excellent Customer Service**: we put clients at the centre of everything we do, including delivering brilliant customer service at every touchpoint. High written and verbal skills and attention to detail are essential.
- **Client Relationships**: building and retaining strong relationships with your clients will be at the centre of your role, which will ensure you are their go-to event planner for their next event.
