**THE ROLE**

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the TAFE NSW Tourism and Hospitality team. TAFE NSW is seeking experienced Kitchen Hands (internally known as Class Preparation Assistants) to join our team on a casual basis. Current opportunities are available at Hamilton, Kurri Kurri and Ourimbah Campus’.

**ABOUT YOU**

The Class Preparation Assistant is responsible for providing high level customer support to educational staff within the Tourism and Hospitality teaching section.
- Can exercise judgement and initiative in determining the best way to respond to customer needs within the required time frame.
- Have sound knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and safe work practices including a Food Safety Supervisors Certificate, or a willingness to obtain.
- Have knowledge of relevant consumables and industry equipment
- Have demonstrated experience in stores procurement and commercial kitchen procedures and processes.
