**About the role**

As a professional educator, a TAFE Teacher’s role is to help, construct, guide and enhance the learning process. You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience in Instrumentation and Process Controls. Your knowledge of your industry is diverse. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and you have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment.

**About You**

To be successful in the role you must meet the below essential requirements:
1. Certificate III in Instrumentation and Controls or above OR Certificate IV in Electrical-Instrumentation.

2. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent or Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.

3. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.

4. Commitment to maintaining & developing Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly Regarded:

- Bachelor of Engineering Electrical/Mechatronics
- Specialisation in Programmable Logical Controls (PLC)
- Industrial Automation experience
- NSW Electrical Trades Licence
