Our NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) team is currently seeking to appoint multiple Building Compliance Inspection Officers across the state within the Assets Division.

As a Compliance Inspection Officer, you will undertake site-based inspections to assess contractor compliance with maintenance contract requirements. Inspections will predominantly be conducted in occupied social housing residences.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced and dynamic team environment

**What you bring to the role**
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working in a trade or be trade qualified. You will also have a demonstrated understanding of Australian Building Codes, Australian Standards, Government or commercial probity and contracting standards.

Additionally, you will:

- Bring a can-do attitude to the role with the ability to prioritise work and deliver programs of work within scheduled time frames
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders including tenants and contactors
- Have a strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify emerging compliance issues.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and data entry skills will be highly regarded

You must also have a willingness to travel and hold a Current Class C NSW Driver’s license.

A key feature is the Communities Plus program, which is designed to fast-track the redevelopment of LAHC’s social housing portfolio in partnership with the private and community housing sector to deliver significant new and replacement social housing dwellings that are integrated with affordable private dwellings.
