ConsMin are currently seeking an experienced Survey Technician to join our Technical Support Team based at our Woodie Mine Site. Mine Survey Graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, the successful applicants will be required to:
Contribute to the team culture by expressing a positive attitude and have a keen interest in pursuing a career in open pit mining;
- Assist Surveyors during their day to day tasks;
- Prepare design data for Setout using Surpac;
- Setout mine designs using GPS including Pit, Waste Dump, Drill Patterns and other infrastructure.
- Conduct topographic surveys using GPS and Scanner equipment;
- Conduct monthly pit and stockpile reconciliation surveys;
- Produce design and as built plans using Surpac;
- Maintain survey equipment;
- Work independently as well as part of the Technical Services team.

**Requirements to be successful in this role are**:

- Previous experience in a surveying team working in an open pit mining environment;
- Operational experience with GPS, Total Station and Scanner equipment and knowledge of associated processing;
Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures;
High level of computer literacy, particularly with MS Office. Understanding of Surpac and Drone practices;
Strong organisational and time management skills;
Current C class drivers’ licence.
Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
