Innovative Early Learning Artarmon is looking for an experienced Educational Leader to join our passionate team.

The role of the Educational Leader is primarily to:

- collaborate with educators and provide curriculum direction and guidance
- support educators to effectively implement the cycle of planning to enhance programs and practices
- lead the development and implementation of an effective educational program in the service
- ensure children’s learning and development are guided by the learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework approved learning frameworks.

An Educational Leader has an influential and important role in inspiring, motivating and also challenging or extending the practice of educators. The role is a collaborative one, involving inquiry and reflection, which can significantly impact on the important work educators do with the children and their families.

This role will be 3 days per week working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays for a long-term role within our team to start as soon as possible. The majority of the role will be non-contact and assisting with daily break covers. Hours can be discussed further during the interview process.

**To be successful in this role, you will need to have**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Educational Leader Role
- ECT or Diploma qualifications
- High level of professionalism with colleagues and families as well as a team player
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Uses initiative and creativity within the role
- Current Working with Children’s Check and National Criminal Records Check
- First Aid Certificate, including CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)
- Have an in depth understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Team-based, collaborative approach to your practices
- Ability to communicate effectively and connect with families and the team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
