**YMCA Victoria Point Fitness Centre** is recruiting an **Assistant Centre Manager (Programs)** on a **Permanent Full-Time** basis to join our team located in **Victoria Point, QLD.**

**About the role**

The Assistant Centre Manager role requires the administration and management of our community programs, including Learn to Swim and Gymnastics. This includes facility operations, staff management, program management, financial management, planning and on-going administrative requirements. You are required to adopt a hands-on approach, and we expect you to display out of the box thinking, initiative and be innovative and creative in your management areas.

**What will my time look like?**
- Overseeing the coordination of the Learn to Swim and Gymnastics programs
- Financial Management (budgeting, financial reporting and cash control)
- Develop and implement marketing strategies in association with the Centre Manager
- Engaging with the local community to increase programs participation at the centre
- Manage, train, develop and evaluate staff in all areas of operations
- Identify growth opportunity for the centre
- Onboarding of staff
- Rostering of staff and adhering to budget parameters
- Supporting all team members and promoting a positive team environment

**Am I a good match?**
- Extensive experience and understanding in the running of gymnastics and or learn to swim
- Detail oriented and a willingness to take on challenges with a growth mentality
- Flexibility to work the hours required for diverse and busy facility
- A current First aid and CPR certificate
- A paid Blue Card or willing to obtain.
- You must be community minded and be able to communicate fluently and effectively with a variety of key stakeholders including members, parents, and staff.
