We currently seek self-motivated **Costume Attendants **to join our busy on-site laundry and costume facility which services approximately 800 employees and is based on-site at Dreamworld. These roles will be on offer on a seasonal casual basis until January 2024.

Reporting to the Costume Supervisor, you will be responsible for the distribution, collection and laundering of Dreamworld’s uniforms, costumes and linen requirements.

**Duties will include**:

- Washing, ironing, hanging, distribution and collection of uniforms, costumes and linen requirements, ensuring quality and quantity of stock is maintained;
- Safely using equipment such as commercial washing machines, dryers and irons
- Safely using specified cleaning products and chemicals according to manufacturer’s recommendations;
- Delivering a high standard of internal customer service;
- Ensuring all equipment is in good working order and reporting of maintenance issues;
- Meeting the performance standards, requirements and expectations of the role and ensuring a high standard of productivity and task completion;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team;
- Proven reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently;
To be considered, you must have a strong customer service focus, enjoy physical work and have a good understanding of laundry processes and care for garments and fabrics. Naturally, you will be a hands-on team player with a positive, can-do approach to work tasks. This role involves manual handling; therefore, you must possess a high level of physical fitness to perform physically demanding work.

Hours of work will vary and will include a variety of shifts which may start as early as 5.00am or finish as late as 9.00pm. Flexibility with working hours is essential and regular weekend, early morning, evening and on-call work will be involved.
