St Peter’s College is one of the most prestigious schools in South Australia and located just 2km from the city centre. St Peter’s Early Learning Centre is located just off Hackney Road, with ample parking space. It is a place for boys to begin their educational journey, where each day is a learning adventure in a nurturing environment.

**About the Roles**:

- ** Lead Educator**

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a cohesive team, implementing the education and care programs for the afternoons and evenings.

In addition, you will be involved in structuring the education and care programs for boys aged three to five years, that incorporate wellbeing, joy, nature pedagogy and contextualised Reggio Emilia Principles at the Heart.
- ** Educator**

In this role, you will be work closely with the Early Years Teaching Team offering high-standard care for boys aged three to five years.

**Duties**:

- Support the documentation of children’s learning and be committed to implementing the program with an understanding of the benefits of nature pedagogy, and the Reggio Emilia Principles
- Use positive behaviour strategies in interactions with children
- Provide a safe, playful, relaxed atmosphere to enhance the wellbeing of all children and hold a mature approach with empathy towards the needs of students, parents and other key school stakeholders
- Present the ability to work cohesively and productively as part of a team and community
- Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills with a clear ability to work effectively with a range of people including students, staff, parents and the wider community
- Deliver a continual warm, welcoming environment that is consistent with the philosophy of the centre and the school values.
- Offer ongoing support and growth for the children enrolled in St Peter’s College Preschool and OSHC programs.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current ECE-Related First Aid, CRP and RRHAN-EC Mandatory Notification Training Certificate
- Hold an ACEQUA-approved Certificate III in Children’s Services **(Educator) **and Diploma in Children’s Services **(Lead Educator)**
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to support the school’s values and Anglican ethos
- A basic understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the influence of this on practice.
- A genuine passion for providing a nurturing and caring environment for preschool children
