**About the Role**:
Are you ready to take the helm as a Supply Chain Consultant, supporting the development and execution of local industry participation initiatives in South Australia? In this key role, you’ll be fostering collaboration between key stakeholders, both internal and external, to empower local businesses to seize opportunities presented by major projects across various sectors including defence, mining, energy, infrastructure, and construction.

Your responsibilities will encompass expert project coordination, support, research, and information services aimed at developing and enhancing local supply chains. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the landscape of South Australia’s economy by facilitating strategic engagements and driving innovative solutions to propel industries forward.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies to support the delivery of an innovative, high performance, high value and competitive industry.
- Broad knowledge of emerging issues, policies and trends affecting major industry sectors such as the defence and resources sectors, and the State’s economy, trade, investment, labour market and business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to establish sound and effective working relationships within the team and across industry and a wide range of agencies, external organisations, universities and research centres, including maintain formal and informal networks with senior personnel nationally and internationally and exercise astuteness and confidentiality in a sensitive/political environment.

**Remuneration**:
Competitive salary (ASO6 $97,022 min - $102,626 max pa) plus superannuation

**Qualifications**:
Essential: Nil

Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in a technical or business-related field, and/or relevant professional experience.

**Special Conditions**:

- The role will be offered as a term contract until 30/06/2025.
- Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) required prior to employment.
