CFO Advisory in an Indooroopilly-based accounting firm

Based in Indooroopilly, Brisbane, this growing firm is dedicated to provide professional tax and finance planning services to their clients who are largely in the field of building and construction sector. They’ve serviced the journey of small startups and helped their way as a large, rapidly growing companies. At the moment, their CFO Advisory Division is in scale-up phase after establishing a strong presence in the building and construction niche as the go-to provider of commercial advice for growing building companies, and they are looking for an experienced leader to take part of the division.

As an experienced CFO Advisory, you have the opportunity to work directly with the clients to provide CFO, Virtual CFO and Business Advisory services. As a CFO Advisory, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of clients and whilst working in the vibrant, growing firm.

Keys of of responsibilities:

- Management accounting works - annual management reports, setting out deadlines for delivery to clients.
- Accounting and advisory works - ensure all periodical work, bookkeeping works up to date and are completed and ready on time.
- Team financial performance - monitor gross profit margins for the team and must work with the CD to make the necessary adjustments in client fees, staff levels and productivity
- Client satisfaction & engagement
- Ensure the quality work being sent out to the client by the team
- Development of risk, compliance and training the team including for remedials in the use of systems and processes

To make this role yours, you must demonstrate:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast paced commercial or practice environment
- Able to demonstrate previous success in a similar managerial role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to be a leader, interest to always have a career growth
