Experience Waiter

Monash Club is one of the largest venues within the Monash Clayton University Campus with an A la carte restaurant, private dining room and conference spaces which is exclusive to staff, alumni and their guests.

**We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team, helping maintain and excel our current standards.**
- Key duties of this role would include, but no limited to the following;_
- Explain the food and beverage offerings to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as providing suitable companying beverages
- Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders
- Clearing and resetting tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple service areas
- Working with Food and Beverage Manager to ensure control of the day to day operations of function facilities, involving set up and pack down of conference and event spaces
- Assisting function guests with any queries they may have during their event and ensuring guests expectations are met
- To be considered for the role you will need;_
- Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certifications
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience
- Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients
- A high standard of grooming and presentation
- Service experience in an A la carte restaurant including the ability to carry 3 plates
- Utilising sales techniques to upsell where opportunity presents
- Ability to follow event orders
- Barista experince is a bonus but not essential

Operation hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6 pm, rosters will require some flexibility with some events stretching a couple of hours past closing.

We do sometimes have night functions that you may be expected to work.

This is a casual role with vary of hours depending on the week.
