Flute Teacher

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Flute Teacher to teach at our boutique music school based in Connells Point

To teach music lessons to students at G Major Studios.
- Provide instructions to students in individual lessons and group classes.
- Teach students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adapting to the individual needs of students.
- Promote a positive, encouraging and inclusive learning environment.
- Co-ordinate and participate in studio events and performances as required.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues.

**Requirements**:

- Have experience and proficiency in flute
- Have a valid Working with Children Check
- Be able to drive (or willing to commute to the studio space)
- Be communicative, passionate and professional
- Have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn

Preferred:

- Some teaching experience
- Have, or be working towards, a Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music Education degree
- Have completed an AMEB AMus exam or equivalent in flute
- Extra points if you can teach other instruments too
- Have experience and proficiency in the relevant instrument*
