**Where you’ll be working**
You will be working with a diverse and dynamic team within Health System Support Group (HSSG) and based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards, NSW 2065. HSSG is a unit of the Public Health System Support Division of the Health Administration Corporation to provide services to support the public health system in implementing Government targets and programs.

**What you’ll be doing**
Reporting to the Director, Rostering Best Practice, the Data Analyst is primarily responsible for performing analysis of health organisation data in order to provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports. In addition, the Data Analyst will coordinate communications with key stakeholders, develop and maintain the project schedule, and track all project deliverables.

The Data Analyst, Rostering Best Practice is a member of the System Performance Support Branch
- Rostering Best Practice Team and works collegially to meet the objectives and aims of best practice rostering design for NSW Health.

You may be asked to undertake further assessments as part of the recruitment process for this position, which may include, but is not limited to, psychometric assessment (e.g. personality and cognitive abilities assessments) and/or particular work tasks.

**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience in project management, advanced data analysis skills and experience with development of reports.
- Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Excellent communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce high quality written documentation and presentations in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with ability and willingness to learn other software systems as required.
- Proven capacity to develop creative and innovative solutions in order to improve productivity and effectiveness for stakeholders as well.
- Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise competing demands, achieve business goals within tight deadlines, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills including ability to work autonomously without requiring supervision, prioritise and meet strict deadlines and supporting the efficient operation of the Rostering Best Practice Team.
- Capacity and willingness, including current driver's license valid in NSW, to travel to NSW Health locations across the state, which may include overnight stays.

New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
