**About the Centre**

The Phillip Island Leisure Centre is an important community facility, managed by YMCA Victoria in partnership with the Bass Coast Shire Council. The YMCA Phillip Island Leisure Centre is a diverse facility that comprises a variety of programs and services to suit the needs of the community. The ever expanding ranges of programs are developed with the ideals of "access for everyone". The facility comprises a fully equipped health club, group fitness room, one court multi-purpose stadium, virtual fitness room and sauna and squash court. Programs include Gymnastics and a variety of other children’s sports programs

**About the Role**

As a Programs Coordinator at Phillip Island Leisure Centre you will be required to develop and coordinate a a wide range of programs to enhance the health and wellbeing of the Bass Coast community.

You will lead and work with a passionate team of people to deliver a range of programs to members and guests from children to older adults.

Areas of work include:

- Health and Wellness
- Group Fitness
- Stadium programs
- Gymnastics
- Children’s sports clinics

The role would suit a person with a Sport and Rec / Health and Fitness background. It requires strong customer focus, great teamwork, a passion for getting people moving and providing fun, engaging community programs.

This is a part time position and the starting hourly rate is $30.98 + Super.

With our focus on providing the exceptional customer experience and always providing outstanding customer service, we will be looking for someone who is energetic, can help to create a welcoming environment and enthusiastic about helping and assisting others.

**Desired Qualifications & Experience**
- 1-2 years leadership experience
- Certificate in Fitness
- Diploma of Sport and Recreation
