Price Kent Racing is seeking an experienced horse person to join our team full time in the position of Head Foreperson.

The successful applicant must have a passion for the thoroughbred industry, have the ability to work in a team environment and lead by example. We are looking for someone who can manage horse and staff equally to create a fantastic culture within the stable.

Day to day responsibilities are the following
- Day to day running of 80 horse barn, including staff management & rostering
- Ordering of Suppliers and liaising with suppliers
- Assist vets/farriers daily
- Communicating with trainers/foreman/owners
- Raceday work available

In addition, the following will be required:

- Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing
- Proven team leader or management experience
- Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of racehorses

Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Truck license or willing to obtain is advantageous. This is a great opportunity to take the next step in the industry.

The job is 40 hours a week and the Salary $80,000 per annum + Raceday and Overtime, Sunday entitlements.
