- **Monday to Thursday 9:30am - 5:30pm, Friday 2pm - 10pm**

**The Role**

The purpose of the role is to identify, pursue and grow sales in a specific territory supported by a documented business plan and target account list.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain weekly/monthly call cycle to ensure customer expectations are met via outbound calls
- Secure new business with customers while maintaining existing orders
- Ensure that effective business relationships are built with customers
- “Lost” customers are to be pursued and revived wherever possible
- Actively utilise key selling programs to build sales in existing and new customers
- Identify and pursue potential areas for growth
- Advise customers of the total PFD product range and supply/price trends
- Identify and manage low yield customers into a more profitable trading relationship
- Ensure national sales programs and strategies are implemented and communicated to customers
- Creation of a pantry or order sheet by using customer ordering history over a period of time
- Clearing deleted stock items by contacting customers who have previously ordered these items and offer then at cost price to clear the stock

- Excellent phone manner and superior communication skills
- Good time and organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in learning a product range quickly
- Good selling and negotiating ability
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Awareness of HACCP & OH&S regulations
- Solid computer literacy
- Self-motivated and ambitious
- Friendly and professional manner
