Hornsby RSL Gymnastics is a prominent gymnastics club on the Upper North Shore in Sydney. We are a non profit club offering a wide variety of programs for all ages and ability levels. We pride ourselves on our high quality programs and small class ratios so that everyone can gain the most out of their gymnastics experience
Hornsby RSL Gymnastics is currently seeking a professional, experienced and inspiring Gymnastics Coordinator and Coach to lead our team.
This position will have two parts:
- Gymnastics Coordinator: Responsible for the overall management of the gymnastics programs, ensuring that they run effectively and all programs are safely delivered in accordance with industry and club guidelines.
- Gymnastics Coach: Be involved in coaching primarily within our WAG Competitive Gymnastics Program, as well as the supervision and leading of our coaching team.

**The successful applicant will have the following**:
- Sound working knowledge of the technical aspects of recreation and competitive (WAG) gymnastics programs relevant to this role
- Ability to develop and administer Gymnastics Programs
- Significant and proven coaching experience in WAG Competitive Gymnastics Programs (National Levels 1-10), and experience across general gymnastics and recreational classes.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, manage, develop and motivate a coaching team
- Self motivated and the ability to work unsupervised
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Manage the development and supervision of coaches
- Demonstrate good communication skills with people at all levels, to be able to liaise with the Club Management, coaches, gymnasts, parents and support personnel.
**Qualifications and skills set**:
- Advanced WAG (or higher) accreditation through Gymnastics Australia or an advanced coaching accreditation
- Demonstrable experience working with children and young adults, using sports and exercise in a gymnastics environment
- Technical Membership with Gymnastics Australia
- Gymnastics Australia 'Coach Club Educator' certificate (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children Check

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
