We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.

About the role

The Eastern Health Pathology service is provided by laboratories across three sites located at Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital and Angliss Hospital.

Services include specimen collection, analytical testing, result interpretation, clinical consultation, teaching and research. Pathology tests are received from five hospitals within Eastern Health and from consultant and general practitioner referrals.

The couriers are responsible for all distribution functions for the following: pathology samples, documentation and other parcels as required for delivery within this health service network and the various pathology patient collection centres and or medical centres where pathology samples are collected and or delivered.

About you

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
A current Victorian Drivers Licence

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
