**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
As the Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our investments team to ensure that the investment portfolio is managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

You will be responsible for carrying out a broad range of investment and portfolio related activities, including:

- supporting the team working on asset allocation and manager configurations
- contributing to idea generation to capture return opportunities and manage risk
- monitoring and evaluating the performance and risk characteristics of the total portfolio, asset classes, and managers
- preparing reports for the board and investment committee
- coordinating operational activities such as portfolio rebalancing, manager instructions, cash and liquidity management, monitoring the funding ratio, reporting and liaising with the Fund custodian and other external providers, and ongoing due diligence
- supporting the development of processes, procedures and investments documentation
- fostering strong relationships with service providers.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in an investments or financial services role, combined with highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Integral to your success will be your ability to actively contribute to a positive, outcomes focused team culture.

Your background will demonstrate your:

- experience in a financial services role, preferably with experience in investments
- highly developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, including the ability to provide concise advice and recommendations
- exceptional attention to detail
- highly developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate confidently with key stakeholders, including the asset consultant, custodian, investment managers, the actuary and board members
- strong client relationship management skills, including experience in outsourced provider relationships.

Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Data Science, or similar.
