**About the role**

**Duties**
- Perform horticultural trade tasks in the areas of gardening, arboriculture, landscape construction and turf maintenance.
- Operate plant and equipment, including attachments, to maintain and develop turf areas.
- Ensure the daily maintenance of plant and equipment including pre-start checklists.
- Undertake boom and knapsack spraying as required.
- Ensure all tasks undertaken are carried out in accordance with OH&S standards.
- Ensure appropriate work records are kept and maintained.
- Perform all other duties as directed.

**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate of Horticulture or relevant experience relating to gardening, turf maintenance etc.
- Current Victorian Driver’s license.
- Construction Induction card.
- Experience working within a team, as a team player.
- Plant/machinery operations as required within the horticultural industry.
- Relevant knowledge of OH&S systems and procedures.
- Demonstrated customer service focus.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
