**Our Client**
Our client is a Australian owned, well established, expanding, supplier of high end commercial furniture solutions. They sell and specify a range of local and imported products into various commercial projects and this role is focused on selling and specifying their Technical Storage Solutions product range.
**Your New Job**
They are seeking to employ an experienced, dynamic business development manager to be based from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and who can drive specifications of their Storage product range via Tier 1 A&D clients. The role will see you face to face with specifiers, builders and various commercial end users including Government, Healthcare, Education, Museums and National Archive organisations. Working autonomously from a home office or a local serviced office, you will be the face of the Storage business and will drive brand awareness and be supported by the local Australian sales support and estimating teams. Your role will be national and you will inherit a database of clients to work from but we are looking for an industry specialist with established relationships and a proactive approach to sales and building a sales pipeline. You will be measured on an achievable sales budget and the role will be proactive, client facing and will require interstate travel on a project basis.
**Skills Required**:
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills;
- Proven track record of specification sales in the commercial storage industry in Australia.
- Highly developed industry relationships with Tier 1 A&D, builders and commercial end users.
- Strong face to face relationship building skills and superb presentation skills.
- Excellent tender and specification sales background and understanding of the sales process.
- A self-motivated approach to selling and building relationships.
- Strong knowledge of commercial storage solutions is a must.
- Desire to build a long term career with our client.
