Are you passionate about driving organisational success through effective HR strategies? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an HR Generalist. In this role, you'll be pivotal in providing timely and accurate HR advice, support, and consultancy services to both managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Developing and implementing HR policies to align with organisational objectives
- Facilitating recruitment and selection processes to ensure the best talent acquisition
- Designing and delivering learning and development programs for employee growth
- Providing coaching and mentoring support to foster a positive work environment
- Handling administrative tasks efficiently to streamline HR operations
- Managing performance evaluations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensuring competitive remuneration packages to attract and retain top talent

- Generating insightful HR reports to guide decision-making processes

**About You**

To be considered for this role, you will require:

- Relevant HR qualification or substantial experience equivalent to a formal qualification
- Computer literacy particularly Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- An ability to understand and interpret legislation
- Well-developed personal competencies, including effective communication
- A sound understanding of the training and development
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence
- Experience in Local government in a similar role would be highly regarded.
