Your role as a Courier Supervisor
As a Courier Supervisor you’ll be based at our local Laboratory in Adamstown, you will be responsible for managing the local courier fleet and courier employees in the Newcastle / Hunter region with day-to-day administration tasks. In this role, it is crucial that the Courier team are providing quality health services to people in our communities.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Managing the fleet of vehicles and ensuring they are repaired, serviced and maintained
Allocating local fleet vehicles across the local regions as required
Ensuring the department performs its function in accordance with all policies and procedures and is customer focused
Managing courier recruitment and induction process
Ensuring all stock and orders are delivered to the hub are sent out to the requesting client/ACC without delay
Demonstrate a visible and proactive commitment to Workplace Health and Safety Management

About you
Previous logistics experience essential
Fleet management, pathology industry and/or management experience is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of the relevant Regional geographical area
The ability to plan, execute and manage changes effectively and on time
You have excellent customer service and communication skills
You are organised, with strong time management and attention to detail
Hold a full Australian Drivers License
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work
**Requirements**:
Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B and two doses of the Covid19 vaccination are a requirement of this role
