**Description**

Buller Ski Lifts (BSL) operates an extensive snow making system and we are seeking experienced Snowmakers who understand the need to deliver a vital product in a timely, efficient and safe manner. Snowmakers must be physically fit, energetic, outdoor enthusiasts who are available to work long shifts. They will be prepared for night work, manual labor, and extreme weather conditions. They will enjoy the responsibility of working in a small crew and would display a mature work ethic. Ideally this person would be able to commit to several seasons.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating fan guns, air/water guns and snow mobiles in a safe and responsible manner
- Providing the best possible skiing experience, by providing a high quality snow product
- Follow company policies and procedures and completing required documentation and reporting procedures
- Perform night work, manual labour and extreme weather conditions
- Operation of the snowmaking systems across Mt Buller
- Supervisor the snowmaking team on the night shift
- Must be able to reason and react with quick, thoughtful judgment while remaining calm under pressure.

We're looking for people with:

- 4 years’ experience in snowmaking or other ski area experience is essential
- Highly safety conscious
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather extremes whilst still maintaining a friendly and positive disposition
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous skiing/snowboarding experience is an advantage but not essential
- Proven experience in the guest service industry
- Computer skills, Electronics skills or a trade background would be an advantage
- Must hold a valid current driver’s license
- Must be enthusiastic, highly motivated and a team player
