**About the role**:
The Head of Sales is responsible for leading and developing a high performing sales team in the Industrial division for Manheim Australia & New Zealand. Working closely with the Head of Industrial, you will play a key leadership role with the goal of developing and executing the division’s sales growth plans.

As a hands-on sales leader, you will also be responsible for building annual business plans to meet or exceed growth expectations by working with all key stakeholders across the company and ensuring that the company delivers innovative and effective sales and remarketing solutions. As part of this position, you may need to travel often interstate and internationally to lead sales development activities and provide leadership to the team.

**Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Developing and implementing business strategies and plans to drive growth and achieve sales and revenue objectives.
- Conducting financial forecasting and budgeting activities to ensure financial health and sustainability.
- Develop and manage sales systems and processes to optimise efficiency and maximise revenue generation.
- Collaborate with all key stakeholders to align sales activities with overarching business goals.
- Managing and developing a high-performing team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

**Ideally you will possess**:

- Expert sales and people leader with a proven track record of driving performance and delivering results
- Experience in strategy development, planning and the delivery of both internal and external engagement and change campaigns
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business acumen, leadership, decision-making and time management skills
- Project management skills with experience in handling competing priorities by utilising your outstanding organisational and planning ability
- Ability to study, analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches
