$68.90 p/h + super

Foundation Recruitment is looking for an Experienced Principle Strategic Infrastructure Planner to become an integral part of the Infrastructure Planning Team for a Local Government on the north side of Brisbane

**What you will be doing**:

- Working with Council stakeholders to help coordinate and support the delivery of long-term infrastructure and planning.
- Support the development of a team that is capable of delivering a high performing customer-focused culture.
- Lead the development and delivery of long-term regional infrastructure planning, strategies, and policy having regard to relevant statutory, policy, financial provisions & council directions to drive integrated and sustainable planning outcomes.
- Undertake complex transport infrastructure network & planning, master planning, costing & prioritisation for key planning projects including the Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) and Growth Areas Management Program and business requirements
- Undertake the development and delivery of transport infrastructure strategies.
- Ensuring all long-term regional infrastructure planning, strategies, and policy, meet statutory regulations.
- Develop policy to support major developments and high growth areas and to meet business needs and the community expectations
- Provide technical input for the development and maintenance of strategic transport, financial and geographical models, annual capital & operational works programs

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, or any other relevant field
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Driver’s Licence
