Mechanical Technician

Through partnerships and our relationships, everything we do is to improve someone's quality of life - no matter how simply. We assist designers, architects, builders and engineers in the design and fabrication of their sheetmetal requirements. We specialise in stainless steel and aluminium products and also provide metal roofing and rainwater goods.

We are seeking experienced MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS to join our busy workshop on a full time and permanent basis.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle or equipment
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components referring to service manuals as needed
- Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Complete and maintain service and inspection documentations ensuring its compliance
- May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
- May respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service calls
- Maintain a tidy work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Strong mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle and equipment
- Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong diagnostic abilities
- Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
- Must have great work ethics

**Salary**: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
