**In this role, you'll**:
be joining a results-driven team to look after Cyber Security for Customer Systems and Operations across the Transport for NSW cluster. You will lead the way in the provision of expert strategic advice and Cyber Security skills, to contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of Cyber Security, risk management and resilience services. Your role will include but not be limited to; engaging in cluster wide Cyber Security projects and the management of operational activities/ alerts, whilst acting as an senior escalation point within the team.

This is not your standard Cyber Security role, your focus is the niche market of Operational Technology.

The position is a Fixed Term Full Time contract until the 12/07/2025 and is based Paramatta with Hybrid work arrangements (two days a week in the office). The office anchor day at Parramatta is Wednesday and the second office day location is dependant stakeholder requirements.

**About you**

You're recognised as an expert in Cyber Security, and you are looking for a position that will define your career in Operational Technologies and set yourself above other Cyber Security Specialists. You will be flexibility to occasionally work beyond regular hours to provide 24x7 support for major incidents and critical issues during peak periods is required.
- Other requirements are:
- Demonstrated understanding of Essential 8, ISO27001, and/or NIST Framework and demonstrated experience in PCI-DSS implementation and compliance, previous PCI assessor or professional is highly desirable.
- Strong hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (Qualys or Nessus) and operation of log management and SIEM (e.g. ELK, QRadar, Splunk.), IDS/IPS and privilege access management and EDR.
- Demonstrated understanding of modern Privileged Access Management and/or Identity Management systems, such as CyberArk and Thycotic.
- Demonstrated understanding of Operational Technology, security architecture design, security practices, technologies, and architectures.
- Professional certifications or a good understanding of the prerequisites for certifications or technologies like MCSA, MCITP, CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, PCIP, or CEH are preferred but not mandatory
- Demonstrated experience in reporting and managing ongoing compliance using relevant security standards.
