First opened in 1964, Pine Rivers High School is a large school, which has gained an excellent reputation in the local and wider community.

Pine Rivers State High School is well located on Gympie Road within easy reach of Strathpine, on bus routes and close to Bray Park Railway Station. Pine Rivers State High School is a well-equipped school with a large campus. The school features:
- a junior secondary precinct
- a 200-seat auditorium
- a number of computer labs and computer pod
- athletics track, cricket nets, hockey, rugby league and soccer fields
- uniform shop and tuckshop
- a spacious school hall for assemblies, musical and concert productions
- dance and visual arts studios
- automotive and engineering workshops.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
