My client is a well-established accounting firm located in Kingston, ACT. **Your new role**

My client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, providing expert financial advice and helping them to achieve their business goals. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge, while also developing new expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique financial needs and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports with precision and attention to detail
- Develop and provide expert advice on tax planning, budgeting, and cash flow management strategies that can help our clients improve their financial performance
- Identify areas for improvement in clients' financial processes and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and legislation to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, becoming a trusted advisor and partner in their success.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- An ambition to attain Chartered Accountant (CA) certification
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of accounting software and systems
