**Just to whet your whistle, let me lead with the position summary**:
This position is responsible for maintenance strategy development and optimisations primarily, and for management and implementation of all asset maintenance systems and master data related functions for Sedgman Operations.
- So, what does that actually mean?
- You will be sat at a desk all day, looking at endless excel spreadsheets, right next to the coffee machine and given only 15 minutes to grab a quick kebab and coke for lunch whilst you work from 5am - 7pm.**I jest.....**That’s my job, minus the kebab, as that’s reserved for 3am after a great night out with my work mates.
- Ok, in all seriousness, you will be showcasing your experience within maintenance and reliability engineering to manage and provide advice on all aspects of the Master Data.
- You will be working closely with our Operations Manager, Blanche Botha on the overall maintenance strategy development and optimisations for plant and mobile equipment.
- Part of your role and something you no doubt enjoy, is getting out there with the crew, in the field whether it be the boardroom or the toolbox meeting.
- And most of all you will be given time, support and an ear to ensure you are able to go home at night feeling positive about what you achieved each and every day regardless of the size of the impact.**Work Region**
