Quality Assurance Officer

We are looking for the energy of an enthusiastic Technical Officer to assistant in the day to day operations to ensure uninterrupted technical support.
**Description**:
About the Role
**Key Responsibilities**:
Conducting regular quality checks on raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal specifications.
Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Investigating customer complaints and non-conformances to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintaining accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and audits for traceability and regulatory compliance.
Provide food safety, CCP and RCP monitoring and compliance training to staff as needed
Assist in meeting all audit requirements against established certification standards as requested by the Technical Manager
Skills and Experiences
A degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field (desired)
Proven experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality management systems.
Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience with internal and external audit processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice, influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to achieve objectives and KPIs
Developed computer literacy, including knowledge and experience in using Microsoft suite of software
