Yard Laborer

**Position Overview**: We are seeking a dedicated ambitious and reliable Yard Labourer to join our team with a view of becoming the yard foreman This position will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in our yard, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the overall success of our company.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.

Operate basic yard machinery such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and storage areas.

Support inventory management by conducting stock checks and reporting discrepancies.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on yard equipment as needed.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a steel and mesh or similar role preferred, but not required.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in an outdoor environment.

Basic understanding of yard operations and equipment.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Forklift licence.

Pay: $24.59 - $36.85 per hour

- 8 hour shift
