Our client is looking for a Regional Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join their dynamic team. As an integral part of the Southern Region, you'll have the chance to contribute significantly to the team's success. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to effectively manage health, safety, and environmental matters on site.

This role provides an exclusive opportunity to liaise with branch managers across multiple sites in Adelaide, Victoria, and Tasmania. Your knowledge, coupled with keen attention to detail, will ensure the smooth implementation of processes to ensure continued improvement.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide advice, training and mentoring to management and employees on HSE issues, including relevant information on the WHS Act, Regulations and Standards
- Partner with the site to support and advise on preventative strategies as part of risk management
- Develop effective HSE systems and processes which support business objectives nationally as a HSE Team and roll-out implementation to Sites
- Review and develop a framework for effective and efficient management of injuries and illness of workers
- Undertake incident investigations and support the implementation of corrective actions
- Maintain a strong operational ‘presence’ across the southern coast sites including Victoria, Tasmania and Adelaide
- Initiate, coordinate and deliver safety training programs leading to safety performance improvement
- Support line management with incident investigations, risk assessments, and workers compensation claims

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing, construction or the industrial industry
- Solid understanding of relevant HSE regulations and standards in each state
- Demonstrates sound, fact-based decision making, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and contractors to help teams achieve goals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and propose effective solutions
- The ability to undertake flexible work arrangements as travel will be required for this role
