**Join Our Team as a Recovery Support Team Leader**

Are you passionate about making a difference in the aftermath of disasters? The Community Resilience and Recovery Program at Ballarat Community Health is looking for a dedicated Recovery Support Team Leader to help rebuild and support communities impacted by emergencies, such as bushfires and storms, in the Grampians region.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Manager Health Communities, you will to co-ordinate the delivery of a high quality program that provides genuine and positive outcomes for clients who were affected by natural disaster.
- Client Support: Provide co-designed case management to aid recovery efforts.
- Team Leadership: provide ongoing support, supervision, performance management, learning and development of team members in this program.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with local agencies, businesses, and community groups to promote disaster resilience.
- Flexibility: Adapt to the evolving recovery needs, with potential for off-site work and overnight travel.

**About you**:
To be successful in this position you will need:

- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, social welfare, mental health, or relevant equivalent studies or other relevant area
- An understanding of the needs and issues faced by people who have been affected by trauma and disaster
- Advanced skills in case management and developing community linkages
- Well developed skills engaging vulnerable adults, children, youth and families including working with individuals with complex needs such as trauma, substance mis-use and mental health issues
- Experience in conducting risk and needs assessments, and developing and implementing action plans
- Leadership skills and ability to support staff in their practice, including promoting a learning and supportive workplace culture
- Well-developed skills and experience in delivering programs and services within required timeframes and budget parameters
- Current Victorian (or equivalent) drivers license
