SIXT Australia is seeking a **Permanent Full Time Washbay Supervisor **to join the team at **Fremantle**.
**Your main tasks will be**:
- Maintain detailing standards through checklists and regular ‘spot checks’
- Shift management of fleet supply in conjunction with the Operations Manager/Area Manager
- Utilise ERA reporting for daily fleet management
- Allocate workloads to maximise efficiencies
- Awareness/assistance over fleet damage and maintenance
- Awareness/assistance of Franchise vehicles
- Ensuring security of premises and assets
- Manage controllable expenses where relevant
- Communication around appropriate stock levels
- Attend staff operations meetings
- Ensure staff fully understand their role and how their performance will be measured
- Manage Shifts to comply with current Award conditions
- Provide regular constructive feedback
- Encourage staff to enable growth mindset and monitor staff morale
- Effectively communicate with all levels of staff
- In conjunction with the Wash OM/Area manager facilitates the opportunity for in-house training and induction
- Vehicles produced are of a consistently high standard of quality
- Vehicles are delivered promptly
- HSE Compliance
- Supervisors have a direct duty of care with their employees
- They must communicate existing and new systems with the employee; ensure employees follow designated safe work practices; act upon any hazard identification on request from the employee or identified by self; report any incidents that occur, keep appropriate records; take corrective action
- Take positive steps to understand the nature of operations on their site and understand the potential hazards and risks associated with the business undertaking
- The Supervisor ensure workplace policies and procedures are understood and followed. Where resistance to following procedures occurs, the Supervisor must inform the Operations Manager responsible
**You’ll have**:
- No formal qualifications are required
- Proven ability to lead a team
- Desire to work in a fast paced environment where targets are exceeded
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Quality focus
- Ability to “ think on your feet” and solve issues quickly
- Ability to work shift work and varied work hours on a roster system
- Current driver’s license
