**Grants Management Officer (2 year Temporary Contract)**
**Salary range $77,291.24 - $89,657.88 per annum dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications**
**Plus 10.5% Superannuation**

**The Opportunity**
Identify, prioritise and source grant funding opportunities for Wingecarribee Shire Council and community groups.

**Leadership**
1. Provide expert support and advice in regard to developing, managing and evaluating Council’s internal grant programs.
2. Provide strategic advice to Executive, Managers and Coordinators on project suitability for funding programs, submission-writing and other presentation or marketing techniques.

**Essential Criteria**
1. Graduate Diploma or higher qualification in business, commerce, management, law or other discipline appropriate to this role.
2. Work in a manner consistent with Wingecarribee Shire Council organisational values and associated behaviours.
3. High level written and verbal communication skills; including demonstrated ability to positively influence, persuade, negotiate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Working knowledge of legislation applicable to the NSW Local Government sector.
5. Demonstrated skills in grant submission preparation and grant acquittal processes.
6. Demonstrated high level research skills and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks in order to achieve outcomes.
7. High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, record management systems, databases and web-based tools and technologies appropriate to the role.
8. Additional skills, knowledge and qualifications that may be applicable to this position, such as specialist training or work experience.

9. Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.

**Desirable Criteria**
1. Knowledge of Corporate Systems
2. Local Government experience.
3. Sound technology skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology systems.
