Our CO2 site, based on Torrens Island SA, is looking for a qualified CO2 Plant Technician to join our team on a full time basis. In summary, you will contribute and deliver towards the daily operations of our site, planning and programming maintenance, contractor management activities and undertaking improvement programs to deliver a reliable CO2 plant. The successful applicant will have proven experience analysing and troubleshoot plant issues

In addition, you will contribute to the achievement of our site health and safety standards, including risk management and implementing a high standard of housekeeping.

The role is a permanent full time opportunity, working on average 8 hours per day. Agreed and paid overtime, penalties, along with weekend work and an additional weekend allowance. The successful incumbent will have flexibility to work and be rewarded on a day, afternoon and night shift roster that includes weekends that covers our CO2 site which is a 24/7 operation.

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:

- Ensure highest level of safety and site reliability
- Contribute towards the site safe operations, maintenance and best practice
- Coordinate and participate with the maintenance staff with daily routine checks and breakdowns
- Act as the focal point for customer, regulatory bodies and unions during site visits
- Ensure all the safety procedures are in place and applied by the local teams and participate in audits and implementation process through documentation control
- Ensure that plant efficiency improvement programs are devised and implemented in partnership with our internal stakeholders
- Contribute and develop operational standards and KPIs
- Investigate and suggest new strategies to reduce operational costs

**Are you a MATCH?**:

- Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Solid experience in process plant operations
- Committed to safe work practises and display a safe-work mindset
- Knowledge and awareness of plant site standards and
- An interest and understanding of piping, valves, electrical & instrumentation and other plant equipment
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing demands
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions, safety rules, operating instructions and procedures from different sources
