- Salary: $56,987 - $61,301 p.a. (Pro Rata) ASO2 | Part Time 18.75 h/pw, Until December 2023
As the Medical Typist, you will be responsible for the provision of a typing transcription service to medical staff and allied health professionals. This involves the typing of dictated clinic letters to disseminate patient clinical information. You will work collaboratively with staff and all members of the health care team and non-government organisations as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in word processing and audio transcription, with a minimum typing speed 60 w.p.m., the ability to work effectively without direct supervision and maintain prescribed work standards, ability to liaise with multi-disciplinary staff in a courteous and professional manner and the ability to undertake a high volume of routine work with strong attention to detail.
