Apprentice Butcher

Williamson's FoodWorks has an exciting opportunity available for a self-motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Butcher.

Within your full time 3 year apprenticeship, you will learn how to develop your butcher skills and qualities such as boning, slicing, trimming and portion for products including lamb, beef, port, veal and poultry.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to liaise with internal and external customers
- Excellent organisational skills and strong problem solving ability
- In good health and be physically fit and capable of undertaking substantial lifting and being on your feet for long periods of times
- Attention to detail

Applicants will need to be willing and able to work Full Time flexible hours across 7 days a week over 38 hours.

Applicants must have a good attitude and be willing to be a team player and complete a variety of tasks. You will have a willingness to learn and be motivated and have high energy levels with a desire to make a positive impact on the overall business.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
