**Position overview**:
Are you enjoying organizing production according to demand and quality standards and ensure goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner? allnex offers you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Supply Chain team as **Production Planner in Botany NSW, Australia **and with this great opportunity in allnex, you will be managing the activities of the local production scheduling team to address short and medium term issues, opportunities and scheduling options to optimize flexibility, supply and cost.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with various functions from different regions that require shipment from various countries and ensure order fulfilment is performed while maximizing plant capacity utilization.
- Establish stocking policy for finished products, intermediates, and raw materials.
- Ensure all planning and scheduling transactional processes are completed from requirements via the ERP system.
- Develop replenishment plans based on demand triggers and business rules (service levels, MTO/MTS).
- Balance aggregate demand and supply in order to decide the best course of action for meeting production and delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to meet customer requirements.
- Co-ordinate supplementary out-sourcing of resale materials to replace shortfalls in local manufacturing capability in line with Supply Review and S&OP guidelines.
- Support Planning Partner in balancing immediate, medium, and long-term capacity demands and implementing necessary actions.
- Maintain ERP system parameters for inventory strategy aligned with business rules.
- Develop a stocking strategy for Finished Goods and Raw Materials.
- Manage working capital and resources to reduce inventory and manufacturing costs whilst increasing service levels.
- Effectively manages planning requirements, including finish goods, facilities planning, and utilization.
- Responsible for SMOG reduction and implementation plans with cross-functional teams.
- Adhere to all company rules and regulations, including safety and business procedures.
- Ensure prompt and appropriate escalation of difficult/sensitive issues.

**Required skills and experience**:

- 3 years of experience in Planning function, chemical/manufacturing industry or environment is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning, demand planning, quality control principles.
- Good understanding in planning needs, theory of principles in manufacturing schedule.
- Experience in ERP system, SAP is a plus.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Management or relevant field.
