**Your new role**
This is an exciting and fast-paced opportunity for a highly motivated, senior administrator and big-picture thinker to take a leading role in the operationalisation of systems and strategies that underpin the successful delivery of a modern undergraduate medical course.

In this role you will be responsible for supervising a small but growing team of other professional staff and working closely with key academic staff to provide administrative oversight and management of the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course curriculum, including the coordination of a complex assessment strategy.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant education sector experience.
- A working understanding of the complexities underpinning the administration of curriculum and assessment programs.
- Demonstrable experience with assessment/learning/curriculum management systems such as Practique, MyProgress, one45, AKARI, Blackboard and Student1 and how they communicate with each other.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating and reporting quality assurance practices for accreditation and compliance.
- Demonstrable experience in providing secretariat services to support formal governance committees, processes and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential Criteria**:

- A degree qualification and considerable relevant experience; OR extensive experience and management expertise in education/medical education; OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, collate, interrogate, and report on data.
- Highly effective verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to create maintain and enhance relationships with colleagues and external parties at all levels.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills, with the ability to draft and prepare a variety of reports and other written documentation.
- Demonstrated effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, in teams and to manage teams
- Desirable Criteria:_
- Previous experience with education/curriculum/assessment management and medical education accreditation.
- Previous experience with managing data and/or setting up new quality assurance systems
- Previous experience with assessment management systems and ePortfolios.
