**The Role**

The Supply and Distribution Manager oversees the fulfilment of food orders, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the process. The role involves managing suppliers, improving operational performance, and overseeing food safety and compliance. You will play a key role in optimising our Warehouse Management System, and driving cost efficiency in the supply chain.

We are on a Digital transformation journey and you will be responsible to drive digital transformation projects across the business.

With a hands-on approach, including site visits and direct collaboration with partners, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve supply chain issues while supporting process automation and business analysis initiatives.

**Responsibilities**

**1. Business Analysis and Technology Management**
- Digital Transformation Project: Lead the implementation of the new ERP system, including the transition to a new inventory management system, serving as the primary point of contact for all technology-related activities within the company.
- Implementation of IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Software: Oversee the implementation of software to manage supply planning, purchase order (PO) management, demand planning, business intelligence, and end-to-end inventory management.
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) Implementation: Implement a complete inbound, storage, and fulfilment process on a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Business Process Automation: Drive the automation of various business processes across different business functions.
- Super User and System Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal systems, liaising between internal teams and the IT support team.

**2. Fulfilment and Logistics Management**
- Fulfilment Process Management: Oversee the entire fulfilment process to ensure successful food order fulfilment, including creating pick-pack and routing manifests for efficient deliveries.
- Linehaul Bookings & Management:

- Submit and manage freight bookings.
- Act as the liaison for freight companies, ensuring timely communication and follow-up on pickups and deliveries to interstate distribution centres.
- Monitor public holidays and other factors that may impact freight and last-mile delivery schedules.
- Delivery Performance Oversight: Review third-party logistics (3PL) providers' delivery performance, evaluate new delivery areas, and recommend improvements to enhance food quality and the delivery experience.
- Feasibility Study for Fulfilment Process: Conduct a feasibility study on fulfilment processes in VIC, SA, and QLD, aiming to reduce order-to-delivery lead times, similar to the NSW process.

**3. Supplier and Partner Relationship Management**
- Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships, ensuring optimal performance and fostering symbiotic partnerships with food, packaging, storage, delivery, and freight partners.
- Process Ownership: Take ownership of processes and systems supporting supplier activities, including the implementation of inbound, storage, and fulfilment procedures on a WMS.
- Supplier Performance Improvement: Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance supplier performance and operational efficiency.

**4. Operations and On-Site Supervision**
- On-Site Supervision: Conduct hands-on site visits (1-2 days a week) to supervise supply chain operations, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met across the board.
- Inventory Management:

- Closely monitor and control stock levels, managing Stock Keeping Units (SKU) and maintaining tight control over inventory and Cost of Goods (COGs).
- Work to optimise inventory management, improving margins and minimising stock wastage.

**5. Issue and Complaint Management**
- Customer Complaint Management: Maintain and update the customer complaints resolution file, analysing complaints to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
