**Maxima’s Recruitment Services** is currently seeking highly motivated individuals for the position of **Technical Officer **with our esteemed State Government client.

**Key Responsibilities**:
At Chemistry Centre, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing high-quality analyses and advice to support environmental and resource management outcomes. Your responsibilities include conducting chemical analyses, maintaining instruments, developing methods, preparing reports, and fostering a workplace culture that supports First Nations people.
- Conduct high-quality chemical analyses on various sample types.
- Operate and maintain major instruments like ICPOES, spectrometers, and analysers.
- Assist in method development, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Prepare analytical reports and provide statistical analysis.
- Supervise and train staff in laboratory operations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum qualification of diploma, advanced diploma, or equivalent in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry.
- Expertise in analytical chemistry procedures, preferably in a NATA accredited laboratory.
- Experience operating analytical instruments with proficiency in troubleshooting.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in database and word-processing software.
- Leadership qualities as outlined in the Leadership competencies for Queensland booklet.
- Evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
