Personal Assistant to The Deputy Principals

**Role Description/Criteria**

Whitefriars College is a Catholic boys school in the Carmelite tradition. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Personal Assistant to join the College full time (1.0 FTE) commencing as soon as possible.

The Personal Assistant to the Deputy Principals is appointed by the Principal and is accountable to the Deputy Principal - Learning and Teaching and the Deputy Principal - Students, in cooperation with the Administration Manager.

The Personal Assistant to the Deputy Principals work as part of the Administration team assisting the smooth and efficient management of the College. They support the Deputy Principals in managing the leadership responsibilities and commitments of their roles. They are required to perform varied tasks which will involve discretion, confidentiality and initiative. The Personal Assistant to the Deputy Principals will also be required to manage projects aligned with the College’s Strategic Plan. They provide effective liaison between the Deputy Principals, College staff and the wider community.

It is expected of all employed at Whitefriars College that they accept and support the ethos of the Carmelite order, and activities directed at the broader aims of the College (eg the Carmelite mission in Timor-Leste).
