Senior Social Worker/Team Leader/ Regional Manager

Children and Family Services - Community Locations

Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs - Australia.

Our client, a well-respected Community Services Organisation is currently recruiting experienced and Qualified Social workers, Team Leaders and Regional Managers for Positions in their Children and Family Services across the Northern Territory.

You will be Leading and supervising a team of professional staff in the delivery of welfare services to individuals, groups and communities in accord with relevant legislation, and Department’s policies and procedures. It is essential that applicants are in possession of tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Psychology and are eligible for membership of their respective Professional Associations.

You will be required to demonstrate professional expertise and best practice in the delivery of statutory and non-statutory welfare services.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
1. A Tertiary qualification in social work or Psychology and be eligible for membership of The Australian Association of Social Workers or The Australian Psychological Society.

2. Demonstrated experience in leadership in a welfare /Community Services Environment.

4. A sound understanding of the principles and functions of supervision in a Statutory and welfare setting.

5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team setting, including demonstrated skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, teamwork, and leadership.

6. Highly developed organisational and communication skills, written and oral, and the ability to communicate complex issues.

7. Ability to use the full suite of Microsoft office.

8. Will need to obtain a National Police Clearance Certificate, Working with Children Check and be in possession of a full driving licence.

**Salary**: $64,176.45 - $125,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
